Golf in December "Fore" a good cause.
This two person "best ball" tournament will be divided into morning and afternoon tee times with shot gun starts at 10:00 AM and 12:15 PM.
The tournament is held at Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona.
To warm you up, a fantastic Applebee's lunch will be served from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM and hot chocolate will be sold on the course all day.
Each registered golfer is eligible for a door prize. Additional opportunities to win prizes are available through raffles and games. Awards are given to the lowest score of morning and afternoon golfers.
1) The event is a two-person, best ball tournament, with a shot gun start. Handicaps will not be used. Nine holes of golf will be played.
2)Your twosome will begin play at the hole assigned at check in. You will either play the front or back nine. The back nine golfers will start with a score of -1 to make each course a par 35.
3) Each member of your twosome will tee off on each hole and the team will select the best shot. Each member of your twosome will proceed to hit from this point in the same manner.
4) All score cards must be signed by both team members.
5) A maximum of 3 mulligans may be purchased and used by each team. Only one mulligan may be used per hole.
6) The team with the lowest net score in the morning and afternoon rounds will receive recognition at the event. The recognition ceremony will begin as soon as all golfers have finished and scores are tabulated.
7) In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by their score on the lowest handicap hole on their round. If the golfers remain tied, the tabulator will look at the next lowest handicap hole and so on.
